My usual shaving cream for the past 20+ years has been from an ancient pharmacy in Florence, Italy and cost over €50 per 150ml tub. No more for me since I started using the Bergamot & Neroli. I have bought a lot of shave gels, shave oils, shaving soaps and gels during my shave journey abandoning the mass marketed gels by the likes of Gillette and King of Shaves. I have bought and used a number of far better products (in my opinion) such as Somerset’s shave oils, Arko shave sticks, Cello shave soaps and most of Taylor of Bond Street’s range. I have also used soaps by Trumper , such as Eucris, products from Edwin Jagger and luxury products by Castle Forbes Aqua di Parma. Trumper’s Eucris and Aqua di Parma shave soap and creams are expensive and are not (in my opinion) as good as they could be for the price, whilst both Arko and Cello, although cheap, give excellent shaves. I bought this product as it appealed to me, being Vegan friendly and I liked the note break down as I like neroli. This cream is absolutely superb. It lathers well and creates an excellent barrier between face and blade. Before reviewing a product I ensure that I have several days of coarse beard growth to truly test the efficacy of the product. This (although superbly priced) exceeded all my expectations. I had a very close. comfortable shave with the beautiful fragrance similar to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino (Which I own). Absolutely superb. Do not hesitate to buy as it is far better than many others available!

All I can say is the sandalwood is A ok and I have no doubt the bergamot and neroli will not disappoint.

Brilliant product. After wasting so many years using gels and foams from well known manuafacturers, this product works really well. Only a small amount needed to work up a really thick lather, enough for 2 passes. Absolutely (for me) removed razor burn and has a nice after effect on the skin. Will be ordering more when it’s run out. Oh and there is something about the fragrance that is calming..!

This stuff is really good. I’m nearly 66 years old so tried a few things over the years. Mainly used Taylors recently. I have sensitive skin, stubble like copper wire, shave with, across and then against the grain and have to use Feather blades. Also some stubborn areas need extra passes on top of this too. This cream seems to give more protection than any other product Ive tried – I do apply shave oil beforehand – I now get the comfortable shave I’ve been seeking for years. I wasn’t so keen on the fragrance on 1st opening the tub – reminded me of Brylcream, yuk – but when in use it smells much better and I quite like it now. Also being vegan I appriciate not being stung by rediculous inflated prices as so often happens on vegan products. Might try another flavour next time but otherwise won’t be going anywhere else for my shaving stuff . Shaving balm is top knotch too.

Got the Sandalwood first which has a very luxurious almost caramel aroma which I like very much. The Bergamot is more old school, hint of citrus, refreshing. I didn’t think I’d get on with it at first but after a few goes am really liking it. I use a Simpsons synthetic and both creams lather up quickly into a thick creamy cushion, and the water here is quite hard too. I’m a long term Taylors fan but have to admit these perform at least as well. A little dab of the balm goes down well too, especially complements the Bergamot.
