I been using this shaving cream now for about 4 months and I love it rich creamy lather gives an excellent shave I use a mekur 34 c razor or my merkur 23c long handled razor along with my parker badger hair shaving brush absolutely brilliant. The only thing I will say is that I wish that gentleman’s face care club would do other fragrances I.E maybe a MENTHOL or a LIME one but still very satisfied

What a great cream! Beautiful scent which is one of the best sandalwood scents I have bought – up there with Proraso red for subtlety. The lather is rich and thick ( if you like it thinner, just add more water) and gives good cushioning and a slick post shave feel. I also have the lime which is equally as good with the same qualities. I need to get the set now.
The tub size is perfect for storage in my wall cupboard den and it’s full to the brim. It’s also priced well – a big plus for me. Well done GFCC!

Thought I’d give this a go after reading some positive reviews about it on a straight razor forum. It produces a nice creamy lather which doesn’t evaporate during the course of the shave combined with a pleasant aroma. It’s as good as some of the more expensive creams on the market but a lot cheaper – what’s not to like ?

This is an excellent cream. It gives a rich creamy lather, and a really pleasant smell. However, I cannot detect any sandlewood fragrance. There is no reference to sandlewood on the box or the tub, either in the description or ingredients. I’ve used sandlewood creams and hard soaps for 60 years, mainly because the scent is so distinctive. First class product but sadly not as advertised.
